Honeymoon Pool campground, on the banks of the Collie River, has 20 individual campgrounds for tents and small campervans only. Four sites are suitable for a single small tent, three for two small tents, eight for a large tent and five for two large tents. Each has an adjacent space for one (or, in some cases, two) vehicles, which could be a small campervan.
Most sites have wood barbeques and picnic tables.
There are gas barbeques in the adjacent `day use` area for the use of all visitors.
Campfires are usually permitted, in the provided fire rings only, between April 15 and November 30 but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice.
When fire restrictions are in place campfires must not be lit and any appliance powered by burning solid fuel must not be used. Always comply with any instructions at campgrounds and parks.
Campers´ own liquid or gas fuel barbeques, stoves and heaters can be used at any time, unless a total fire ban has been declared (see Department of Fire and Emergency Services).
Bookings cannot be made. Go to ´Find available sites at other campgrounds´ for the latest information on availability. We cannot give any guarantee of availability of camp sites and we cannot respond to enquiries for specific availability information. Be prepared with an alternative place to stay in case there is no suitable site available.
Swimming, canoeing and kayaking the Collie River
Steps at the `day use` area provide access to the river for campers and other visitors for swimming and launching canoes and kayaks.
Check the Department of Fisheries website for information on fishing regulations, including licensing.
